Emma Claire - Newborn

I love taking pictures of newborns... I don't know what it is - posing them, 'dressing' them, or what... but I have so much fun with them! This time - it was double-fun, because this is my niece!!! Bo (my brother) and Jen (my sis-in-law) had Emma on May 4.... she is so pretty and perfect! And that's not just a biased aunt talking!  She really is perfection!!!! Enjoy her beautiful photos.....

Lacey Hart - Beauty Queen

Lacey and her mom were referred to me through Facebook... gotta love my marketing techniques, right!?! Lacey's mom was in a bind for some photographs of Lacey for a portfolio (she's in the Ms. Baby Georgia Pageant!) that had to be ready by the pageant, which is THIS SUNDAY... we got in touch on THURSDAY!!! Needless to say, we arranged for pictures that afternoon and I edited away long into the night to have them done by Friday... then there was the rush to get them printed so that she could have them in her hands by SATURDAY MORNING! Whirlwind - yes, but I think we got some good results!!! Lacey and her mom were so great, and I loved chatting with both of them... Lacey had a lot to say too!!!! ;-)

The Lesniak Girls

We have known the Lesniaks for quite a few years, and I pretty much laugh out loud and how much alike our families are... except that they have two girls and we have two boys!!!! The personalities of our kids are mirrors of each other though, and it made me smile the entire time I was editing these pictures!  Audrey (6) and Ava (3) are such beautiful girls, and their parents are pretty much great!!!!  Hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as I have!!!!! ;-)

The Gross Family Welcomes Katelyn Leigh...

The Grosses are good friends of ours, and I have known Marci since high school.... They are such a beautiful family - on the inside as much as the outside!  I have photographed them a few times already, and I didn't know any other little girl could even begin to compete with Sara Beth and her 'adorable-ness,' but I think this little Katelyn is going to give her a run for her money!!!! Look out Peter!!!!!!! ;-) As always, with these newborns, I have SUCH a hard time narrowing down my favorites... there are quite a few to share, so here we go.....

The Gilbert Family

I know I sound like a broken record, but it is so fun to see people and friends I haven't seen in awhile and catch up... and take pictures of their growing families!!!!! I mentored Amanda when she was in high school, and she is now married with her own little 5-month-old, Caden!  Such a precious family!!!!!!

The Holbrook Girls

It has been so great to see some friends from high school lately.... here is another friends' three little girls... They are beautiful little girls - and despite it being nap time, I think we got some good candids... as you will be able to tell, everyone didn't want to cooperate at the same time! :-) But it was fun as always, and regardless, they were beautiful!!!!

Lily Rowe

Lily turns ONE in a few days!!!! I've been friends with her mommy and daddy since high school (which hasn't been that long... hahahaha!!!), and I am so excited that they trusted me with their sweet little girl's birthday pictures!  We snuck some in of big brother, Collin (3.5), too!!!!! ;-)
