What I Did With My "Time Off"

Last weekend my family and I took some time off and went to the beach.... only - I took over 1,000 pictures while we were there! I am not exaggerating! But we had tons of fun, and it was so wonderful to watch my two little ones play and enjoy the beach and God's creation!

I thought I would share just a few of my favorites...

I have actually had the last couple of weeks off... for Mother's Day and this week because of a cancelation - nonetheless, I have missed taking pictures and editing! Don't you worry... I made my own family endure a (rather chaotic) photo shoot on Mother's Day!!!

Our Family (my side anyway)... my brother, sis-in-law, Mom, Dad, me, BJ and our little guys... And my grandmother... Me, my husband (BJ) and our two boys, Sam (4) and Jake (2.5)...

The three dogs - three TOTALLY different personalities! Stormie (left - mine) is a bitter little 8 1/2 yr-old Shih Tzu; Rocky (middle - my parents') is a 13-yr-old laid back [now] Chow; and Jack (right - my brother's) is a rambunctious and playful 2-yr-old lab! And you can tell - they weren't being cooperative AT ALL!!!

I have always thought that the perfect Mother's Day gifts were pictures... especially once I had kids of my own! This year is no different, so here is a taste of the gifts Grandmothers and great-grandmothers in our family got this year...

Getting Started...

Well Hello!

My name is Tammy Laterveer, and I have decided to turn my love of photography into my very own business! My love for taking photographs came from photographing my two adorable children.

[who are thrilled that Mommy has found some other 'loyal subjects'! You know when you call their name and they turn their head while shouting, "CHEESE!" that you may have taken one too many photos of them!?]

Then came my frustration... why oh why am I paying 100's of dollars for pictures by so-called professionals that I sometimes like???? This is when my idea came to me... why not offer personalized photography for my friends and family (and hopefully many 'strangers' - my hope is that we are no longer strangers by the end of our first session) at an affordable price? You get the pictures YOU want at a price that makes us all smile!!!

So here I am with my PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORIES... at your service! I will go anywhere (within reason... wink, wink!), and will photograph anything (again, within reason!!!)
